WE EXPLORE UNESCO ROMAN RUINS

After being picked up from your accommodation in Fes in the morning, you will depart towards the west. You get to choose whether to take the highway or the scenic road, which includes possibilities to photograph the Oulad Shaker reservoir and the surrounding undulating landscape studded with wheat fields, olive groves, fruit trees, and vineyards.

The ruined Roman city of Volubilis will be your first visit. Archaeologists from France began excavating Volubilis in the early twentieth century, but half of the massive site is still buried beneath millennia of dirt. Admire the iconic attractions, such as the cathedral, the triumphal arch, and the numerous palaces with magnificent mosaics. Volubilis tours may be taken with or without a local guide. After you've done your touring for the day, you'll take the highway back to Fes. In the late afternoon/evening, you will be dropped off at your hotel.
